On 7th Nov, u gave us a lecture on image processing..I must thank u for presenting such a wonderful seminar..Am an undergraduate and also fresher to this profession..by listening your superb talk i'm sure that i got a good rolemodel for me..once again am very thankfull to you sir..

Roomi sir is really a nice person. I have spent some years with him as his student and I know him as a caretaker of students. Some people think he is arrogant, but only few knows the reality that is not so. Of course he scolds students (even his dearest ones) for their mistakes but that makes him as respected and loveable person among all.

He always has a bunch of active students working actively under his guidance. As per my view, Roomi and his team has created an unique identity to Image Processing lab under him. His team is known for putting consistent effort and working extra hours even in weekends. He always thinks of taking forward the research activities to greater levels. He encourages students to concentrate on publishing more journals rather than less impact conference.

Roomi sir is helpful to all students and teachers irrespective of their department or college. He even helps staff from other colleges in PhD. I have personally seen Roomi sir guiding the slow learners in academics with his team of students. He remains busy with all the college activities both technical and non technical because of his helping tendency.

Roomi sir is very strong in basics in both electronics and communication. he is the only person in ECE department of TCE with two Master degrees. Once he sits for technical discussions it goes for hours together that too interestingly.

He has ability to mingle with all sort of people. Probably almost everybody knows him in college. He holds the pride of organizing the first international conference in TCE. He maintains a good contact with alumni.

HE IS ARROGANT,,,,DON'T HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IMAGE PROCESSING.... WITH ELI MEESAI

Roomi sir has very good core knowledge. He makes all boring classes into interesting one. We all like his classes. He always simplify the tough concepts and explain them with practical examples. That examples provides different dimensionality to the concepts. He would teach the concept till the student gets clarification. He would like to help others. Regularly he spends a lot of time with the students after working hours. If I am writing about him (as per my knowledge), this page will not be sufficient. I really proud to be a student working under his guidance since 2007. You are one of the best teachers met in my life sir.
