Indian students throw eggs at teachers

How does the headline sound? Controversial, eh?

Actually, we have come up with a visual rating scale for the teacher ratings on MyFaveTeacher.com.  It gives a simple visual representation of a teacher’s performance as judged by the students.

Here’s how it works. A fresh egg appears when a teacher has an overall rating of more than 3.5 out of 5. A broken egg (symbolizing throwing of eggs at bad performers!) is displayed for the teachers having an overall rating less than 2 on 5. For teachers with a rating between 2 and 3.5 we have a cracked egg.

So, technically, the students do throw eggs at teachers in the form of ratings!

Please take a minute and give us your valuable feedback on the new rating scale.
